Notes - The Origine File is the directory of civil status acts and notarial acts found as part of the Franco-Quebec research project on the family origins of French and foreign emigrants established in Quebec from the origins to 1865 (PROFEQ). Since 2001, it includes the names of all individuals, married, single and religious whose birth or baptism certificate has been traced to their countries of origin.
