- Alfred Schiller
HERKIMER--Alfred H. Schiller, 85, of 305 Lansing St., died Monday in Herkimer Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Berlin, Germany. He married twice. In 1916 he married Bessie Duesler in Schuyler. She died in 1952. In 1953 he married Gertrude Miller Wick in Syracuse.
Mr. Schiller was employed by the Library Bureau Division of Remington Rand Inc. in Herkimer for 40 years retiring in 1957.
He was a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church, the Frankfort Odd Fellows Lodge of which he was past noble grand and the Frankfort Rebekah Lodge.
Besides his wife he leaves his son, Carl A. Schiller, Unadilla Forks.
The funeral will be at 11 tomorrow from the Fenner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak View Cemetery, Frankfort.
