Frankfort, April 20.— The death of Mrs. Ella Golden Huyck, widow of the late Oscar Huyck, occurred at her home in East Schuyler at 4 o'clock this morning, after an illness of many months, having suffered from kidney trouble since last fall.
Mrs. Huyck was born in German Flatts, Feb. 19th, 1861, the daughter of Abner and Catherine Golden, and all her life has been spent in this vicinity. She married Oscar Huyck in Richfield Springs, Sept. 19, 1878, and for the past 15 years they had made their home in Schuyler. Mr. Huyck's death occurred two years ago last fall.
Mrs. Huyck leaves surviving three sons, Seymour A. and Howard Huyck of Schuyler and Harry H. of Fort Plain, and two daughters, Bessie E. Huyck and Mrs. Earl Knox, both of Schuyler, and five grandchildren. She also leaves four brothers, James and William Golden of Ilion, Allen Golden of Amsterdam and Ira Golden of Schenectady, and two sisters, Mrs. William Garlock of Schuyler and Mrs. Frank Hawes of Frankfort.
The funeral will be held Thursday at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Wednesday.
