2395 The death of Mrs. Adeline Seymour, wife of John Seymour of Litchfield street came as a shock to the people here this morning, when it was announced that she passed to the beyond at 2:30 this morning. She had been ill but a few days, having been confined to her bed only since Sunday. Pneumonia was the cause of her death. She was the daughter of the late George Lints and was born in this town in July 1852 and her whole life had been spent here. In her young womanhood she married John Seymour and five children blessed their union. They are Prof. Eugene Seymour of New Jersey, Ray Herbert of this village and Eva, Mrs. Floyd Rider of Litchfield. She was a lady of retiring disposition, quiet and modest, and had not been in good health for some time but had been able to be about and attend to her daily duties. She was a member of the Methodist Church having joined many years ago. She is survived by her husband and the children named and two brothers, H. G. Lints of DeRuyter and Peter of northern New York, also one half sister, Mrs. Olive Blanford of New Jersey. The funeral will be held from the home Saturday at 2:30 o'clock. Lints, Adeline M. (I330)
