Early Census records are notorious for unusual surname spellings based upon the familiarity of the Census taker with Bohemian/Moravian names. The 1910 Census in Cook County, Illinois matches John's children but is missing Marie for some reason. The transcription has Zitka but a close look at the original shows it to be Zitko.
